Size, Weight, and Compression
Automated Design's Size, Weight, and Compression system accurately reports the physical characteristics of any golf ball or core, and the system is available to test balls from other sports. Fully automated, the system is controlled from a networkable computer, which records all the data it collects into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. See below for the video.
The sequence begins as 360 degrees of ball diameter are measured by a high-precision laser micrometer, then continues on to our ADC Compression system for a compression and vertical diameter measurement are taken. Finally, a digital scale measures the weight of the ball.
The system pictured allows the user to load up to 12 balls. The system automatically adapts to the number of balls loaded into the system.
